The course provides a basic knowledge of the characteristics of the pathogenetic mechanisms responsible for the main pathological contexts in humans. Starting from the description of the cellular, molecular and functional mechanisms at the fundamentals of the general etiology (causes) and the genetic pathology, the class covers the general concepts of health and sickness, examining in depth the etiology and the mechanisms (pathogenesis) that lead to sickness.
